This table gives interactive access to the complete predicted structures of all 9 human herpesvirus using the following proteomes: HSV-1 strain 17 (UP000009294), HSV-2 strain HG52 (UP000001874), VZV strain Dumas (UP000002602), HCMV strain Merlin (UP000000938), HHV-6A isolate U1102 (NC_001664), HHV-6B strain Z29 (NC_000898), HHV-7 strain RK (NC_001716), EBV strain B95-8 (UP000153037) as well as KSHV strain GK18 (UP000000942) .
For simplicity, we have excluded ColabFold predictions of two more animal model herpesviruses (PRV and MHV-68). You can find the full list here.

Each row of the table shows the known homologous relationships between viruses (Human Herpesviruses: Biology, Therapy, and Immunoprophylaxis by Edward S. Mocarski Jr.).
We have used FoldSeek to cluster all human herpesvirus protein predictions into structural similarity clusters. These clusters encompass new connections between proteins, and each was given a “Structure Group” name to describe the most similar cellular (i.e. dihydrofolate reductase) or viral protein (i.e. tegument protein 3). For particularly large groups, a second part was added to the name to denote the subcluster based on a protein (i.e. immunoglobulin glycoprotein_RL11) or number of domains (i.e. US22_4).
Searching a “Structure Group” name will display proteins that were found to be structurally similar. The following proteins failed the quality scores and were therefore not found in the associated “Structure Group”: HCMV_UL44, HHV-6A_U44, HSV-2_UL36, and HSV-2_UL51.

Protein homologs were checked with an all-against-all structural comparison performed using DALI:

Methods:
All proteins were initially predicted using LocalColabfold with 3x recycles. If this model failed the quality scores (see materials and methods for details), then the prediction was rerun with Alphafold2 and LocalColabfold with 20x recycles. The model that passed the quality scores (or the model with the higher pTM if both passed) is shown.
Proteins were also analyzed with DeepTMHMM to identify signal peptides. If a signal peptide was found, the prediction was rerun without the signal peptide. If a transmembrane domain was identified, this domain is specified below the prediction.
